An article from the New York times displays a religious conflict having to do with misunderstanding of another religion and mutual superiority complexes. After a Anti-Muslim video trailer, made in the US was published there we riots across Muslim dense nations. The most violent riot appeared on Friday, Sept 21 in Islamabad, Pakistan. This source emphasized how misinformed and degrading the video was to Islam. I learned the importance of Islam is so great, that one video, of one misinformed American, can cause an out-poor of grief and aggression. I chose this article because I thought it displayed the superior mindsets held by many Christians and Muslims. Both religions believe they are right and are the way to heaven, so both are easily offended. This article emphasizes the need to respect every persons religion and to become comfortable and uneducated about things you do not understand. Groups from both religions were misinformed and reacted with aggressive actions, with an understanding of each other these volatile out bursts would be much less common.
